TARANAKI’S TOUGHEST FIREFIGHTER 2026

Saturday 14th February 2026. TSB Hub, Camberwell Road, Hāwera – In conjunction with the Hāwera Community Fun Day

Event registration includes a collectable event T-Shirt. Register as an individual, if you are a member of both a natural & built brigade, you may register in both categories. You will be required to run the course twice wearing the correct PPE for each category. Pairs and Group runs will take place after the individual event, registration for these will take place on the day.

At the conclusion of the event, you’re invited to join us for a BBQ and prizegiving at the Hāwera Fire Station.

Please ‘add a note to your order’ at checkout to provide your station name for T-Shirt delivery (applies to entries received after 28th January only). Additional tees can be purchased here.

2026 Competition Categories:

Built/Urban Male and Female age groups – Under 40, 40-49, 50-59, 60+.
All Built/Urban competitors will also be automatically entered in the overall Male or Female category.

Natural/Rural overall Male and Female – no age-groups
